The Pre Authorisation (Prise of Charge) process consists of providing a confirmation to private healthcare providers that a member is covered upon admission to the clinic.
The Prise en Charge Team works closely and maintains a solid relationship with clinics both in Mauritius and abroad. Moreover, the Prise en Charge team operates at flexible hours and are on call as follows: After office hours: 17:00 - 20:00 Weekend and public holidays: 08:30 - 22:00.
